Svalbard means glaciers, and lots of them, Here is a melt waterfall in the face of Austfonna!

A rare glimpse of a HUGE blue whale surfacing off the continental shelf. Blues are ever so slowly making a comeback here in the far north, let's hope it continues!

First year sea ice surrounds us in Bjornsundet (Bear Sound) as the National Geographic Explorer pushes to circumnavigate Spitsbergen.

Early season brings lots of ice into Hornsund (Horn Sound), making for beautiful foregrounds!
